Pass By: Maritime Museum of San Diego, 1492 N Harbor Dr Discovery Pier, San Diego, CA 92101-3309

You will enjoy a beautiful harbor view of the various museum ships and submarines moored along the San Diego skyline including the Star of India and the USS Midway. As we cruise out to the Coronado Bridge you will also get a great view of San Diego Seaport area, the new amphitheater, and the latest US Navy warships. If time permits, we head out to Americaâ€™s Cup Harbor to see if our sea lion and seal friends are sunning on the docks!

This was an incredible private charter experience for a very reasonable cost. My family and I recently look a sunset 3-hour cruise with Claire's Sailing. The attention to detail and service of this charter were unparalleled. Ron met us at the gate and took the time to get to know us right off the bat. The boat was clean and very luxurious. The assortment of drinks on the boat was amazing. They had fine wines, champagnes and craft beer. Ron was passionate about the local breweries and took time to explain each beer when served. Captain Buck was extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the city. With his extensive military background and love for boating, he was able to provide all the history needed. He's also a photographer and took excellent photos of our group! This was the perfect amount of time for a charter. And for anyone who usually gets seasick - there were NO issues of that on this boat! Even when we were sailing, the harbor and the captains ability to manage waves left us feeling no nausea what-so-ever. This was an EXCELLENT charter and I highly recommend for anyone looking to have a private/semi-private tour of the city.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful trip. Len the captain and Ron our host were gracious and friendly. And the weather was perfect for sailing. We were even lucky enough to have the boat to ourselves. This was an excellent 1st class adventure all the way.

It was all an amazing experience! Learning how to sail, having the opportunity to take over the captains wheel and actually sail the boat was awesome! Very knowledgeable about all of the sights and history around the San Diego Harbor. Friendly crew, a beautiful sailboat, very relaxing and enjoyable! Looking forward to returning soon to sail again with Rob and Captain Bucko! Keep up the great work with your sailing tours!

My wife and I have done most of the San Diego tours on the water, from sunset and dinner cruises to the thrill ride that soaks you head to toe. Of them all, Claire Sailing was the most memorable. Captain Len and Rob provided interesting insights about the harbor, we were treated to local craft beers and best of all we got to take the wheel for a bit while sailing! The boat is beautiful, comfortable and small enough to get into some areas the larger boats can't, while providing plenty of room for my wife, step-son and myself to move around. I highly recommend them.
